Pages are dynamic, free-form content pages managed from Admin > Pages. Unlike articles, pages are standalone and typically used for informational content, legal documents, and custom landing pages.
Pages are designed for content that lives outside of the blog/article system. Common uses include:
Pages differ from articles in that they do not have author attribution, excerpts, or a blog-style listing. They are intended for evergreen content that is linked to from navigation or footer menus rather than discovered through a feed.
Key fields when creating a page:
privacy-policy). Set once during creation and cannot be changed.Page URLs follow the pattern /pages/[category]/[id]. The primary category (first in the list) determines the URL path. For example, a page with ID privacy-policy in the legal category is accessible at /pages/legal/privacy-policy.
Categories must be set to live status and must include Pages in their table associations to appear as options. A page can belong to multiple categories, but only the first one affects the URL.
The body field uses the TinyMCE editor, providing a full word-processor experience. This is the same editor used for articles and includes:
Only pages with live status are accessible to the public. Draft and archived pages return a 404 for visitors but remain visible to admins in the Manager.
Pages are not automatically added to site navigation. To make a page easily discoverable, add a link to it in Site Config > Navigation — either as a header link, footer link, or nested under a dropdown menu. Legal pages are commonly placed in the footer.
The platform ships with two pre-built legal pages that are created automatically during initial setup:
A comprehensive privacy policy covering data collection, usage, storage, security, cookies, user rights (GDPR and CCPA), international data transfers, children's privacy, and breach notification procedures. Located at /pages/legal/privacy-policy.
Full terms of service covering account registration, user roles, content standards, intellectual property, e-commerce terms, payment processing, account suspension, liability limitations, dispute resolution, and accessibility commitments. Located at /pages/legal/terms-conditions.
Both documents are pre-populated with your site's name, email addresses, and business address from Site Config. They are fully editable — you should review and customize them to match your specific business requirements, jurisdiction, and legal obligations.
